Spring Training is over, now on to MLB baseball!

Well the Spring Training Schedule is over and done with, and now its time to get onto the MLB regular season. Sure a spring training game is really something special, but you can’t do much better than a professional MLB Game. With so many good teams out there looking to win their division, MLB tickets are all the sudden very popular. People on both coasts and all the way in between are doing their best to get out to a professional baseball game with their MLB tickets in hand. SO many teams look like they can content, and each division will have a battle on its hand one we get closer to the MLB playoffs.
Even before the spring training season began, the were more than a few baseball insiders thinking the New York Yankees could repeat as World Series Champions. They have a lineup that can blast balls all over, and with New Yankee Stadium giving up home runs the way it does they never out of a game. Its not going to surprise anyone that cheap Yankee tickets are the talk of the town in the Bronx. Not too far north, the Yankees arch-nemesis the Boston Red Sox aren’t looking too bad either. Fenway Park has been selling out each game for years now, and if you can get your hands on Red Sox tickets you are going to see a quality baseball team. The AL East is going to be very competitive this year, with the Tampa Bay Rays looking like this is the year they have to go for it. And the Orioles and Blue Jays are not easy to beat either. They had a great spring training and have had some very good games so far.
The NL looks like it is going to be dominated by Philadelphia once again. They made it to the World Series the past two years, and now that they have Roy Halladay on the team they are downright scary. In the city of brotherly love they are buying Phillies tickets as fast as they can get ‘em. Philly fans love to get a cheese steak and a soda and enjoy a game at Citizens Bank Park. It’s going to be a tough division, with the Atlanta Braves, New York Mets and Florida Marlins all showing some real potential. Citi Field still has that new ballpark smell, and they are doing a great job of getting fans to get Mets tickets to see the team play baseball. Braves Manager Bobby Cox has said this is going to be the last year he manages the team, and with a solid team Braves tickets won’t last long this season. Jason Heyward has team running scared, so do your best to get out to Turner Field this year.
The Central Division in both leagues has been the most balanced going on a few years now. No team is head and shoulders above anyone, although Albert Pujols can hit the ball like nobody else. Pujols is a big part of why St Louis Cardinals tickets are among the most popular in MLB baseball year in and year out. Their long-time rivalry with the Chicago Cubs has only intensified over the years. The Cubs have some good players that will definitely test the Cardinals when they meet. Up in Chicago, when you have Cubs ticket you no longer are satisfied with a day out at the park. The Cubs need to win games and be competitive because they need to win a World Series at some point. And the AL Central is another where all the teams are not that far apart. Last year it even took a 163rd game to sort it all out! The Twins opened brand new Target Field, which has a lot of people excited about seeing a baseball outside. But the team has committed some major money and they are looking to stay competitive for a while. There haven’t been this many people looking for Twins tickets for a long time now, and seeing baseball outside in Minnesota is really something people all over want to do. And the team the Twins beat out for the AL Central title last year look like they are ready to compete. Motown is really got a hankering for Tigers tickets and with some of the AL’s best players its not really a surprise.
And of course West Coast baseball is always a treat. They are playing baseball after the rest of the country is sleeping, but the action is just as exciting. The premier West Coast team has to be the LA Dodgers. Sure the Angels have had more post-season success in recent years, but gate receipts for Dodgers tickets are always higher. The Dodgers have more tradition as it dates back over a century, and they play in Los Angeles rather than Anaheim. Dodger Stadium is really a treat so if you can get out there you will see some good baseball. The Dodgers might have more panache, but they have some tough competition in the NL West. Looking very dangerous, the Colorado Rockies had an incredible turn-around in the second half of last year. They really have some dedicated fans, and Rockies tickets are always really popular in the Mile High City. And the San Francisco Giants hung in ’till the very end last year. They have two-time Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum going every five days, and their hitting is really starting to come around. AT&T Park is a very nice stadium, and with the weather so nice SF Giants tickets are always a treat.
Yes, spring training is all done, but its the real MLB baseball season now. Make sure you take in at least a few games this year and get some MLB tickets to as many games as you can. And when the MLB playoffs come and another World Series Champion is announced, come back here. We’ll have the 2011 Spring Training Schedule waiting just for you.
